General and special rental conditions

Article 1 : This contract is granted to the tenant for tourist purposes and is of a seasonal nature

Article 2 – Length of stay : Tenant signing this contract concluded for a fixed period no circumstances invoke any right to maintain occupancy at the end of the stay.

Article 3 – Conclusion of the contract: The reservation becomes effective once the tenant has sent an advance payment of 50 % of the total amount of the rental to the owner. The rental concluded between the parts to this contract can not in any case benefit third natural or legal persons, unless written agreement of the owner.

Article 4 – Cancellation by the tenant:  Any cancellation must be notified to the owner by telephone, e-mail or mail. No fee will be charged until 15 days before arrival. The amount of the advance payment (50%) will not be refunded if the cancellation occurs less than 15 days before arrival.

If the tenant does not show up within 12 hours of the date of arrival indicated on the contract, this contract becomes null and the owner can dispose of his house. The advance payment also remains with the owner who will ask for the balance of the rental. If the stay is shortened, the rental price remains with the owner. There will be no refund or reduction of rent.

Article 5 – Cancellation by the owner : The owner refund at the tenant the amounts under a pre-payment.

Article 6 – Arrival : An estimated time of arrival is required at the time of booking. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must inform the owner. The tenant can arrive from 3 pm, and must leave the cottage the day of departure before 10 am.

Article 7: Conditions of occupancy: On arrival, the inventory of the house will be given to the tenant.

This document will also be posted behind the front door of the house. The tenant must take note of this, and report any anomaly within 1 hour after arrival.

The tenant agrees to occupy the house personally and to keep them in perfect condition of cleanliness. The furniture and all the equipment must be replaced in their place.

The tenant will have to restore the place in the condition where he found them: trash emptied, clean dishes and dedding picked up.

The tenant agrees to report any loss or deterioration that may have been made during his stay upon returning the keys.

Warning: All personal objects belonging to the tenant are the responsibility of the tenant. The tenant must do his personal business of insurance of his own property. The tenant must have liability insurance to cover the damage for which he is responsible.

Article 8 – Payment of the balance: The balance of the rental is paid at the entrance to the gîte.

Article 9 – Deposit or guarantee: At the arrival of the tenant, a valid bank guarantee is requested. If degradation is found, the owner may take the cost of repairs.

Article 10 – Utilisation des lieux : Use of the house: The tenant must ensure the peaceful character of the gîte and make use of it according to the destination of the house.

Article 11 – Capacity: This contract is established for a maximum capacity of 5 persons. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner may refuse the additional persons.

Article 12 – Pets : The tenant can stay with a pet for an additional cost and subject to inform the owner who can give the right to refuse the animal.

Article 13 – Insurance : The tenant is liable for any damages arriving from his act.
